In my opinion, beyond a reasonable doubt is the best, and ONLY way to
indict someone on any criminal charges. ESPECIALLY when this guy could
go to jail for life. You can't just say, guys a prick, probably killed
him, and then let him rot.
In the state of Florida use of a firearm for self defense is permitted, whether or not the attacker dies does not matter. Self defense wins in any case. I do not think that Travon tried to hurt Zimmerman. I think Zimmerman attacked Travon, then Travon punched him in the face, humiliated and defeated, Zimmerman pulled a gun and killed him. However, I THINK that is what happened. There is no evidence to rule him guilty and there is no proof that he is innocent. The jury did not find him innocent, the found him not guilty.
There is a special place for Zimmerman shoveling shit in Hell for eternity, but, the legal system did it's job. Innocent until prove guilty BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT.
Who the hell is he to cut a boys life short? Well, who the hell are we to cut his life short? Charging a potentially innocent man with murder is just as bad as killing.
